These heavy duty one inch steel frame canopies are perfect for creating a safe haven from the sun, or the weather for all your outdoor activities from your back yard to the mountains to the desert. You can purchase these canopies in prepackaged sets or design your own to fit your particular need. We provide you with the required fittings, tarps and ball style bungee cords. You pick up the 1 inch thin wall steel electrical tubing (emt), at the local hardware store and voila, you have a very durable , portable and sturdy canopy for camping, prospecting , outdoor dining, and the beach.

HERE IS HOW TO CREATE SOMETHIN' SHADY
STEP ONE: Buy the SOMETHIN' SHADY 10 x 10 canopy kit which contains four corner fittings, two pitched roof center fittings, a 10 foot by 10 foot tarp and 24 ball style bungee cords.


STEP TWO: Pick up nine 10 foot sticks of 1 inch thin wall steel tubing from your local hardware or home improvement store. Cut four of them off to 6 feet in length to make four legs for the canopy. Cut two of them exactly in half to make four 5 foot long pieces, and use these with the remaining three 10 foot pieces to make the frame for the canopy roof. STEP THREE: Assemble the canopy using the SOMETHIN' SHADY canopy kit parts and the steel tubing parts you cut to size.

10 FOOT X 16 FOOT CANOPY KIT You can change the four five foot roof frame pieces to eight foot pieces and create a 10 foot x 16 foot canopy with our 10 foot by 16 foot canopy kit. This kit is the same as the 10 x 10 kit except you get more ball bungee cords and a 10 x 16 tarp instead of the 10 x 10 tarp. This kit requires eleven ten foot sticks of one inch electrical tubing (emt).
